There are three key things to explore in counselling: your relationship with YOU, with OTHERS and with your PAST.

It’s not about looking back, it’s about connecting to present emotions. That’s when change happens.

Choose a method which works for you…

Telephone

Telephone counselling is carried out via your mobile or landline phone. You’ll need a private space to have the conversation. If using a mobile, ensure a good signal and enough charge on your battery for the length of the session. Headphone are helpful.

Face to Face

Face to Face counselling is carried out by attending one of the two room locations based in Weymouth or Portland. Appointments are made in advance. At present this option is only available on Fridays.

Video

Video counselling is carried out via a secure and encrypted web platform (Doxy). You’ll need a private space to have the conversation. Use a laptop, computer, tablet or phone. Make sure that your microphone and camera are working and you have a good signal. Headphone are helpful.

Walk and Talk

Side by side counselling is carried out by meeting up at a location based in Portland. Walking at the slowest persons pace (that’s probably mine) whilst taking in the coastal views and absorbing the elements. Appointments are made in advance.

Inner Child Work

How I work

Transactional Analysis is usually a good foundation to begin healing your Inner Child by allowing yourself to finally feel your emotions.

The work includes challenging the unhealthy or unhelpful things your Inner Critic says which may help reduce low moods or depression, and working with your Risk Assessor which may help reduce your ease anxiety.

From here, led by you, we can explore increasing self esteem and confidence by completing unfinished business with the past, and/or reviewing how you are in relationships with others. Being at peace in the present and increasing your resources. w more
